Chris 'congeda' Fearne Cotton da BBC Radio 1 con una canzone scritta per lei

Gli intrecci fra i Coldplay e Fearne Cotton sono stati tantissimi durante le loro rispettive carriere, così come i reciproci attestati di stima: basti pensare che la bionda conduttrice radiofonica ha voluto ringraziare oggi la band con questo tweet: 'Grazie di cuore ai Coldplay... Grazie per essere stati la migliore band con cui lavorare'.

Proprio alla fine dell'ultimo appuntamento radiofonico di Fearne Cotton, è andato in onda un brano, intitolato 'Gone But Not F. Cotton' (un gioco di parole, molto vicino all'espressione 'Gone But Not Forgotten', ovvero 'Andata via ma mai dimenticata', ndr), scritto da Chris e suonato dall'intera band: una sorta di ringraziamento per tutto quello che Fearne ha negli anni fatto per loro.
